Africa’s oldest national park is Virunga National Park, located in Congo, it covered portions of Mgahinga in Uganda and the Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda when it was founded in 1925. Virunga is a park with unspoiled environment and an amazing diversity of wildlife. Numerous well-known African animals and primates can be found there. Chimpanzees, mountain gorillas, and the endangered okapi are also present. The mountain gorillas and mountaineering Mount Nyiragongo are the main  highlights of Virunga. Because it’s the only volcano in Africa where visitors can pay to get up close and personal with boiling magma, Nyiragongo Volcano is unique.

Rwanda is where 4 Days Congo gorilla trekking and Nyiragongo hike in Nyiragongo begins and ends. A tour to Kigali is the first stop before entering the Democratic Republic of the Congo. In the entire globe, there is only one orphanage for mountain gorillas. The five orphans housed at the Center were all saved from the deaths of their parents at the hands of poachers and pet dealers. The Center offers them first-rate care and aids in their rehabilitation. The Center is free to visit, but only for those who make reservations through the opulent Mikeno Lodge. Compared to other resorts, the Center is the closest to Mikeno.
