Detailed Travel Plan

Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Bwindi forest national park.

On your  day of safari, our guide will pick you from where you spent the night  , brief you about your 5 days Uganda budget gorilla trekking and wildlife safari then you will embark on a 8-9 hours drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, you  a few stop along the way , the very first one being at the equator  in kyabwe along Kampala – Masaka road.  Late proceed westwards   you will have another stop in Mbarara for lunch and brief relaxation . proceed with the journey south westward  through the beautiful highland of Kigezi region which also hosts some of the gorilla parks. Upon  arrival, you will head straight to your accommodation where you will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and  transfer to lake Bunyonyi.

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be picked by the guide who will transfer  you  to the park headquarters where you will be briefed on the gorilla trekking procedures, later you will be assigned groups of 8 and you will embark into the jungle in search for gorillas. The trekking exercise can take any time from  2-5 hours. The hike is actually interesting as you will encounter other primates and bird species, if you will photos you will have the perfect opportunities to capture them. As you proceed in the jungles  search for the gorillas, you will eventually meet them . you will be allowed to spend a maximum of 1 hour  with them taking as many photos as you can . later head back the park headquarters and be transferred to the lodge for lunch.

After lunch ,  check out of  the lodge embark on another journey to  lake Bunyonyi  one of the worlds most scenic lake , known for its beauty. The purpose of heading there is basically to maximize the experience of your 5 days Uganda budget gorilla trekking  and wildlife safari.

Day 3: Boat cruise  to queen Elizabeth national park

On your last day you will wake up in the morning, have breakfast and head out for the boat cruise on lake Bunyonyi, see several islands. later you will return to the lodge and check out of and embark on a drive to queen Elisabeth national park . when you arrive early you will check in at your lodge and possibly for for an evening game drive in the park. The game drive will expose your to wildlife such as elephants , lions , buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, water bucks among others.

Day 4:  Morning game drive and boat cruise.

In the morning after breakfasts, you will get into the vehicles and head the park for a morning game drive. The drive will let you see wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, water bucks, lions if you are lucky, you will be able to see leopards. After the game drive, you will head  for lunch and later you will embark on the boat cruise  on Kazinga channel, the boat cruise will  have you see the crocodiles , one the largest schools of hippos on the planet as well as several birds species and other wildlife drinking water on the shores.

Day 5: Transfer to Kampala.

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and later you will check out of your lodge and embark on a drive back to Kampala. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at place of choice.
