Detailed Travel Plan

Day 1 : Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Nyungwe  forest national park.

Following your 5 days budget Rwanda gorilla and chimpanzee trekking safari, you will be picked by our guide who will brief you about your 5 days budget Rwanda primates safari. You will later embark on a drive to Nyungwe forest national park, upon arrival. You will check in at your lodge where you will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk.

 In the morning after breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters of course dropped there by  your guide. You will get briefed about the dos and don’ts regarding Nyungwe chimpanzee trekking, later you will head to the jungles in search for the chimps. Upon meeting, you will be allowed to spend with them a maximum of 1 hour interacting and taking as many photos as you can.  Later leave the park and head back to your accommodation where you will relax and have lunch.

After lunch you will brace yourself and head out for another activity which is canopy walk to have a birds view of Nyungwe forest national park  , take as many photos as you can. Later you will head back to your accommodation where you will have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to volcanoes national park.

Bid your stay at Nyungwe farewell and later embark and a transfer to volcanoes national park, Rwanda’s most popular national park in terms of guest visits.  Drive though the lush countryside and get yourself to volcanoes. Volcanoes is known to be home to Rwanda’s mountain gorillas, the park also home to the shy golden monkeys that are frequently sought after by many on top of  other attractions such as ibyiwacu cultural village, Karisoke research center , mount bisoke, Musanze caves among others. arrive a volcanoes national park and check in at your accommodation.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in volcanoes national park.

Start your days with amazing breakfasts, later you will  head our to  park headquarters, you will be briefed  on the rules partainig  gorilla trekking  , be assigned a gorilla family to track from. Later you will head out in search for gorillas, getting to see the gorillas will take you between 1- 3hours. upon meeting with them, you will be allowed to spend a maximum of  1 hour interacting with them. Later you head back to the park headquarters where you will reunite with t your guide and transfer back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Later in the afternoon you will visit the ibyiwacu cultural village , where you will be taught all the matter that pertain  Rwanda culture and practices  from  marriage ceremonies, to hunting, construction , food storge among many more.  Later you will check out and transfer back to the lodge where you will spend a night.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5:  Transfer to Kigali.

Wake up to a hearty breakfast and you will and later pack your bags and transfer to Kigali , where you will be dropped off at your place of choice.
