How Many Days Do You Need for Gorilla Trekking?
How many days Do You Need for Gorilla Trekking? A gorilla trekking safari lasts at least three days, including transport to Bwindi National Park on day one, gorilla tracking on day two, and a return drive to Entebbe/Kigali on day three. More specifically, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is often regarded as the top gorilla trekking safari destination.
Since trekking cannot be done at night, we give you a time range to consider but are not definite about the duration of the gorilla trekking safari because it relies on a number of circumstances. However, mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable inhabit high altitudes between 2000 and 3000. As such, when choosing a gorilla family to walk, always take terrain and fitness into account, or, alternatively, pick a family that is close to the starting site.
You may be able to spot a troop of mountain gorillas from a distance, but keep in mind that they are constantly moving in search of food. To determine whether the first or last walk was longer, those who are scheduled to complete the double trek are assigned to different gorilla families every day.
Duration of gorilla trekking: This is the amount of time you spend on a gorilla trek on the actual day of the activity. After a brief briefing in the morning, you are escorted into the forest to begin your trip in search of the endangered mountain gorillas.
Gorilla trekking begins early in the morning. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing, which typically begins at 7:30. You will be divided into groups of eight by 8:00 am. Park rangers will guide you to the trekking paths located within the park, where you will get the opportunity to encounter mountain gorillas in their natural environment.
After you locate them, you have an hour to observe these mountain gorillas and discover how they fight, eat, hunt, and nurse, among other things. You may also take advantage of amazing photos with it.
