Explore the wonders of the largest primates the “ the mountain gorillas” in a 3 day Uganda budget gorilla trekking safari . The trip sees you to Bwindi forest national park south western Uganda covering the district of Kanungu , Kabale and Kisoro . get to witness the great gorilla trekking experience. The trip starts with a pick up in Kampala and later a long drive to the Kigezi highland area home to the endangered mountain gorillas, the trip will end with a drop off in Kampala or any preferred place of choice.

Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Bwindi forest national park.
On your day of safari, our guide will pick you from where you spent the night , brief you about your 3 days Uganda budget gorilla trekking, then you will embark on a 8-9 hours drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, you a few stop along the way , the very first one being at the equator in kyabwe along Kampala – Masaka road. Late proceed westwards you will have another stop in Mbarara for lunch and brief relaxation . proceed with the journey south westward through the beautiful highland of Kigezi region which also hosts some of the gorilla parks. Upon arrival, you will head straight to your accommodation where you will have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to lake Bunyonyi.
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be picked by the guide who will transfer you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed on the gorilla trekking procedures, later you will be assigned groups of 8 and you will embark into the jungle in search for gorillas. The trekking exercise can take any time from 2-5 hours. The hike is actually interesting as you will encounter other primates and bird species, if you will photos you will have the perfect opportunities to capture them. As you proceed in the jungles search for the gorillas, you will eventually meet them . you will be allowed to spend a maximum of 1 hour with them taking as many photos as you can . later head back the park headquarters and be transferred to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch , check out of the lodge embark on another journey to lake Bunyonyi one of the worlds most scenic lake , known for its beauty. The purpose of heading there is basically to maximize the experience of your 3 days Uganda budget gorilla trekking safari.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Boat cruise and transfer to Kampala.
On your last day you will wake up in the morning, have breakfast and head out for the boat cruise on lake Bunyonyi, see several islands. Later exit and embark on a drive back to Kampala, you will a few stops to stretch as well as relax and lunch. upon arrival, you will be dropped at preferred place of choice.
