Boni National Reserve

Boni National Reserve: Boni National Reserve Kenya is situated in the Garissa community in the country’s northern-eastern area. Its closest districts are Lamu in Kenya and Ijara in Somalia, and it occupies an area of roughly 1339 square kilometers. Furthermore, the reserve was created in 1976 to act as a season refuge for elephants from the districts of Ijara and Lamu. Numerous tree species that are uncommon in other forests can be found in the reserve. Commonly found tree species include Homalium abdessamadii, Croton megalocarpoides, Croton polytrichus, Excoecaria busses, and cycad hildebrandtii.

This reserve offers a mix of warm, humid seasons from the south and warm, arid seasons inspired by the north. Despite the little amount of water that the entire region receives, the reserve retains a significant amount of range throughout the year, making it an important location for clinical natural world study. It also draws many tourists who come to the reserve as part of their Kenya safari.

Furthermore, surrounded by a great deal of paradox, irony, and mystery, Boni National Reserve is one of the ideal forest tourism sites. Among other things, the park preserves a large number of animals and flora.
