Buhoma Community Rest Camp

Buhoma Community Rest Camp: The Camp is Located immediately above Buhoma village and less than five minutes’ drive from the main road and it is also known as Buhoma Haven Lodge. It is situated close to the entrance of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Since its establishment in 1993, it has served as the foundation of BMCDA.
The communal rest camp at Buhoma provides visitors with a unique outdoor experience and amenities. A safari in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park provides breathtaking vistas of the forest canopy and surrounding landscapes, notably during sunsets.

There are daily scheduled flights from Kihihi Airstrip to Entebbe International Airport and also full-day journey from Kampala and Entebbe.                                                                                                       Drive time from Queen Elizabeth National Park is two to three hours.                                                             Fly in safari packages is offered.                                                                                                                           Drive time from Lake Mburo National Park is six to seven hours.                                                 Completely safari-style packing with transport, guiding, and permits available.
