Chameleon Hill Lodge

Chameleon Hill Lodge; is located in Kisoro, Southwest Uganda, sandwiched between the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park.

The lodge is situated close to the stunning Lake Mutanda’s edge. With its immaculate, breathtaking views of the hills, the breathtaking lake Mutanda, and the virunga mountains, Chameleon Hill Lodge is one of the top tourist spots in the Southwest of Uganda.

Virunga Lodge is beautifully designed in a variety of rainbow hues, giving it an amazing appearance even from a distance.

The lodge’s proximity to Mgahinga and Bwindi National areas allows visitors to enjoy flexible activities inside both areas.

Additionally, the resort serves both local and foreign cuisine. The kind, inviting staff offers round-the-clock services from the moment of arrival until departure. The lodge has a bar with international hot and soft beverages along with locally branded beers. Breakfast, lunch, and supper are served, along with tea and coffee throughout the day.

It’s also free of mosquitoes. Driver guides can also find affordable lodging at Chameleon Lodge, right within the resort.

The lodge is situated at an elevation of approximately 1800 feet above sea level, which accounts for its breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. It also features a library with numerous travel literature in the lounge area, where chameleons and pin-tailed whyders are frequently spotted.

Rooms and Prices

The lodge has ten chalets with five double rooms and five twin rooms.

In double rooms, there is one big bed.

For double rooms, additional beds are also available upon request.

There are bathrooms in the rooms with showers, flashing toilets, and sinks.

Extra covers in case it gets really chilly

How to get there
Kisoro town is ten hours’ journey from Kampala, and it takes roughly an hour to get to the resort from Kisoro.
