Four Gorillas Lodge: In the Southern region of Uganda‘s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, in the Rushaga district, sits the recently constructed Four Gorillas Lodge, a four-star luxury lodging option. The Four Gorillas Lodge is located about ten minutes from the gorilla tracking and briefing site, close to the Bwindi National Park headquarters. Visitors who like to explore the park with its breath-taking views, gentle breezes, rustling trees, and forest canopy will find the lodge to be business-friendly. Road travel from Kampala or Entebbe to the resort takes approximately 9–10 hours, while flying from Entebbe International Airport to the nearby Kihihi airport takes 2-3 hours. From there, it takes an hour and twenty minutes to drive to the lodge.
The eight tastefully designed and luxurious en suite cottages at Four Gorilla Lodge are reminiscent of traditional African architecture, complete with grass thatched roofs and locally sourced wood elements. The well-appointed rooms have an elevated platform, tasteful décor, and a plethora of private amenities including flushing toilets, hot and cold showers, free bottled water, bathtubs, hair dryers, flat-screen TVs, satellite, extinguishers, and much more. The wooden balconies, terraces, and sitting spaces in the rooms allow you to unwind while taking in the spectacular view of the surrounding landscape and the canopy forest. Excellent, spotless bedding, a wooden floor, and ceiling fans are all included in the rooms. The resort features fire pits where visitors may unwind and exchange stories about their safari adventures. The fires also keep the guests warm at night. There are several classifications and sizes of rooms, including single, double, twin, triple, and family cottages. Accommodations start at $300 per person per night, though occasionally the price is slightly higher during peak season than during off-peak.

The best and most popular national park in the Kanungu district of Southwest Uganda is Bwindi Forest Impenetrable National Park. There are two gorilla habituated experience families in the Rushaga sector: the Bukingi and the Bushaho. Tracking Rushaga is also possible when visiting the Nkuringo area. Of all the sectors that make up Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Rushaga is the best and most popular because it offers a stunning perspective of the forest canopy. In Bwindi, a gorilla permit costs $700. In the entire planet, there are more than 786 mountain gorillas.

Visits to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park are most recommended in February, March, June, July, September, October, and December.
