Ikoro Hotel: The three-star Ikoro hotel was recently constructed and is located in Bufumbira, Kisoro Town, across from Kisoro Airstrip. It is near the gorilla trekking locations of Mgahinga, Nkuringo, Rushaga, and Bwindi National Park located in the extreme South-western region of the Uganda, bordering Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the South and West. With a view of the surrounding and the volcanic scenery, the hotel is situated in an ideal location. The drive to Mgahinga National Park takes about thirty minutes. The trip to Kisoro airport takes two minutes. The trip from Kampala/Entebbe international airport takes two hours via Cyanika or the Gatuna border. The trip from Entebbe airport to Kisoro airstrip takes two to three hours. The trip from Kigali International airport to Kisoro airstrip takes forty minutes.

The 26 sound-proofed, roomy, and cozy Ikoro Hotel rooms include views of the stunning volcanic landscape and are constructed in a contemporary architectural style for maximum comfort.
