Park Entry Fees to Murchison Falls National Park: The Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) controls park entrance costs. However, the fees for the children are 20 USD for foreign non-residents, 10 USD for foreign residents, and UGX 5000 for East African citizens. You must be aware that park admission costs are completely unrelated to the services and activities offered by Murchison Falls National Park. Additionally, they are paid per person per day, thus the total fee varies significantly depending on how long a visitor is expected to spend in the national park.
Annual admission fee to the park
Conversely, you have the option to pay the annual admission fee or charge, which is only applicable to visitors and foreign residents who are East African citizens, for the entire year. East African natives are entitled to UGX 150000, whereas international residents are entitled to USD 350,000. However, East African citizens are eligible to 700 USD and UGX 300000 for a household with up to four children.
For a corporate group or company, the annual park admission price is UGX 2.5 million for the East African community and USD 1500 for overseas residents. The cost of the minibuses that access Murchison Falls National Park is fifty dollars for foreign visitors, ten dollars for foreign residents, and UGX thirty thousand for inhabitants. Additionally, there are separate fees for wheel care and pickups: $50 USD, $15 USD, and UGX 30,000 for foreign residents, foreign non-residents, and East African citizens, respectively. Last but not least, parking for aircraft costs UGX 50,000, which is the same for all aviation strips in the national parks, including Murchison Falls.
It should be noted that the park parking cost is assessed daily, and pilots who are in route are not billed if they are not at the park for longer than two minutes. Additionally, the admission costs for the vehicle and its occupants are separate.
