The Rwimi River, which divides the western Ugandan districts of Kasese and Kabarole, is home to the Rwagimba Hot Springs. The King frequently spent days at the hot springs to rejuvenate himself, making the region extremely significant.
How to get there
Hire a tour operator to get to the hot springs. Our guide will drive you to the Kasese district in western Uganda, stopping at Nyakigumba Trading Center. From there, you will travel 25 km on the Fort Portal-Kasese Road, drive 7 km up to Kinyampanika Primary School in Katebwa sub-county, and then hike through steep hills to the hot springs.
