The New Gorilla Family

The New Gorilla Family; Eleven mountain gorilla families may be found in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, and over the years, people have been making reservations for the mountain gorilla family that best suits their interests when going on a gorilla trekking safari. This is the new gorilla family in Bwindi Impenetrable, which was established in 2019 and which you may visit.

The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to eleven (11) mountain gorilla families. However, a new mountain gorilla family has been added to the list, bringing the total number of mountain gorilla families in the park to twelve (12). These families are available for visitation, and one of them may even be your new mountain gorilla family for your Ugandan mountain gorilla safari this year.

Mr. Stephen Masaba, take note that AUTO is in charge of regulating travel agencies and businesses in Uganda. A new gorilla family was said to be available for visits at any moment. With roughly five mountain gorilla families and now one more, the Rushaga gorilla trekking sector is one of the most inhabited areas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and is home to the new family.

Although the Rushaga sector was previously thought to house five (5) mountain gorilla families, the addition of a fifth gorilla family means that this time there are six (6) gorilla families waiting for you. The Rwingi Mountain Gorilla Group is the new name for the family of mountain gorillas.

A new generation of mountain gorillas: the Rwingi Gorilla Group

As a splitter family from the Kahugye or Kahuje mountain gorilla groups, the Rwingi mountain gorilla group was formed. The silverback that is currently leading the family is known by the name Rwingi Gorilla. This demonstrates that gorillas and humans, with whom they share 90% of their DNA, have similar family names. There are six gorillas in the new Rwingi Mountain gorilla family, including the silverback. You must reserve a ticket in advance for this, and you never know—you might be among the first to visit the recently established Rwigi gorilla group in the Rushaga area.

Additional families of mountain gorillas

If you choose to continue with the “veteran” mountain gorilla families in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, they have been entertaining and profitable for years. Old is gold.

Aside from the new “rwingi” family, there are eleven other experienced mountain gorillas in the impenetrable national park of Bwindi. The Buhoma area, located north of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, is home to three families: the Habinyanja, Mubare, and Rushengura families. The Butukura, Kyanguriro, and Oruzongo gorilla families are among the Ruhija families found in the eastern portion of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The Nkuringo Mountain Gorilla Group is one of the families that may be found in the Nkuringo section of Bwindi National Park. The remaining families, known as the Mushaya, Kahungye, Busingye, Nshongi, and Buhoza families, are then located in the Rushaga area south of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population, or around 400, may be found in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and are available for year-round visits. Because it’s the off-peak season and you may get a discount, get your gorilla permit now. Your permit for gorilla trekking in the impenetrable Bwindi National Park will not be regretted; it is an amazing and unforgettable experience that will make every dollar worth it to spend an entire hour in the forest with the habituated mountain gorillas.

Because you purchased a gorilla trekking permit, you may have contributed to the growth and development of the Rushaga gorilla families by bringing new members into the community.
